Audi Q8 e-tron Sportback makes debut in India

Audi India has debut their new electric SUV - The Audi Q8 e-tron. Q8 e-tron is a facelift of the e-tron SUV. Q8 e-tron is based on Audi e-tron, their first electric SUV.

Performance & Battery

Q8 gets a dual motor setup which produce 408 BHP and 664 NM of Torque. Q8 e-tron gets a 114kWh battery pack that has a range of up to 600km.

It can do 0-100 in 5.6 seconds and Q8 e-tron has a battery pack of 114 kWh, However, Audi is providing 22 kW AC Charger. Q8 e-tron can support 170 kW DC fast charging. It can charge 0-100 in 6 hours. With the DC fast charger it can charge from 10 to 80% in claimed 31 minutes.

Rivals

Q8 e-tron has only single rival as of now which is the Jaguar I-Pace. 

Features

Talking further about some features of the Q8 e-tron, the front seats gets heating, ventilation and massage functions. It also has 16-speaker Bang and Olufsen speaker system, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, four-zone climate control and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). 

And how can we forget that Audi Q8 e-tron also gets Audi's famous Virtual Cockpit which is my personal favourite Instrument cluster in the segment.

Design

Looking at the design of the Q8 e-tron which is already stunning on the present Q8.  Q8 e-tron gets blacked-out grille surrounds and Audi's new monochrome logo. Also, Q8 e-tron gets redesigned front bumpers with larger air intake.

Pricing and Launch

Talking about the price expectation, Pricing for the Q8 e-tron will somewhere between 1.10 - 1.40 Crores.

And the expected launch will be somewhere around the mid of August, 2023.
