Honda is offering some substantial discounts and benefits on its range of cars for the month of March 2021. Customers an avail of benefits of up to Rs 52,500 on models such as the Jazz premium hatchback, the WR-V crossover and the Amaze compact sedan.
Honda gave its WR-V crossover a facelift in mid-2020, bringing in updates to the styling, a little more kit and most importantly, upgrading the car to meet BS6 emission norms. The strengths of the WR-V lies in its tractable 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine, well-sorted ride and handling, and a spacious cabin – something it shares with the Jazz. Buyers can also opt for a 90hp 1.2-litre petrol engine. Both engines are available only with manual gearboxes – a 5-speed unit for petrol and a 6-speed for diesel. Buyers can avail of cash benefits on the WR-V of up to Rs 15,000, along with exchange benefits worth Rs 10,000 and corporate benefits of up to Rs 4,000. Additionally, Honda is also offering buyers the option to wave the cash benefits in exchange for accessories worth up to Rs 17,500. Existing Honda owners can avail of further benefits of up to Rs 16,000.
Honda’s premium hatchback received a second facelift last year, bringing minor styling tweaks, more kit and the discontinuation of the diesel engine option. The sole engine on offer is the 90hp 1.2-litre petrol, which can be had with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. As with the WR-V, the USP for the Jazz remains its spacious cabin. The Honda Jazz too can be had with either cash benefits of up to Rs 15,000 or with accessories worth up to Rs 17,200, depending on the customer’s choice. Buyers can also avail of exchange benefits of Rs 15,000, with Honda owners offered loyalty benefits of up to Rs 16,000. Corporate customers are offered additional benefits of up to Rs 4,000.
Now in its second generation, the Honda Amaze, apart from the City, has proven to be a popular model from the carmaker, particularly in its second generation. The compact sedan is available with the options of 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine, with both units paired with either a manual or CVT gearbox. A rival to the likes of the Maruti Dzire and Hyundai Aura, the Amaze can be had with benefits of up to Rs 47,000. As with the rest of the Honda cars mentioned above, buyers can either avail of cash benefits of up to Rs 10,000 or free accessories worth up to Rs 12,000, with additional benefits in the form of a discount on the exchange of your old car. Loyalty benefits are also on offer on the model.
The Honda City, both the fourth-gen and the new fifth-gen, continues without any cash or exchange benefits. However, existing Honda owners can avail of loyalty benefits of up to Rs 16,000 on the popular midsize sedan, with corporate customers also offered benefits of up to Rs 8,000. The fourth-gen City is available as a petrol-only sedan powered by the company’s tried and tested 119hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine, paired with a manual gearbox. The new fifth-gen City makes use of a newer and more powerful 121hp 1.5-litre petrol engine and is also available with the company’s 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel. A 6-speed gearbox is standard, with petrol also offered with a CVT unit.
