The Japanese Yamaha has declared the launch date of the 2021 MT-15 A Naked Streetfighter. This Japanese fine tech will be launched on 15th March in India. Before that, the bike is already launched in Thailand. The bike now offers new color combinations like Racing blue, metallic black and metallic grey. The 2021 edition of Mt-15 will sport racing blue color option with blue on tank and wheels and light grey on tank shrouds, headlamp and front fender. The metallic black color will feature a full black look with silver graphics on shroud, and metallic grey will offer a combination of grey with red wheels and blue graphics.
The 2021 Yamaha MT15 looks exactly same as the previous year model. It features the same 155cc, single-cylinder engine that also powers the India-spec MT-15. This engine is capable of producing 18.5bhp of power and 14.7Nm of torque. The powertrain is paired to a six-speed gearbox with slipper and assist clutch. The Thai-spec model comes equipped with upside down front forks with gold-finished fork bottles and aluminum swingarm. The India-spec MT-15 features conventional telescopic front forks and an box-type swingarm. For braking purpose, it gets a 282mm disc upfront along with a single channel ABS (anti-lock braking system). Based on the Deltabox platform, the Yamaha MT-15 features bug-eye shaped LED projector headlamp, MT-09-inspired taillamps, sculpted fuel tank with radiator guards and all-digital instrument console.
