Kia Seltos launched at INR 10.90 Lacs Ex-Showroom !

Kia has finally launched the Seltos facelift with prices starting at Rs 10.90 Lacs Ex-Showroom to 19.99 Lacs Ex-Showroom for the top spec variant which is the X-Line.

You can Book Kia Seltos with an amount of Rs 25,000. Kia has received 13,424 bookings on the first day.

Powertrain Specs

The Kia seltos continues to get two petrol engines and one diesel engine, the diesel engine is the same as before which is the 1.5 Litre CRDi VGT which will be available either with iMT (Clutchless Manual) or 6 Speed Torque Converter, no manual option. However, there is a new petrol engine which is a 1.5 Litre Turbo Petrol TGDi engine which is the same engine which comes in the new Hyundai Verna. This 1.5 TGDi engine churns out 160 BHP and 253 NM of Torque, this engine also comes either with iMT (Clutchless Manual) or 7 Speed Dual Clutch Transmission or the DCT. The other engine remains the same which is the 1.5 Litre MPi Naturally Aspirated engine.

Variants

The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with the manual gearbox is available on the HTE, HTK, HTK+ and the HTX trims, while the iMT gearbox is only available on the HTX trim. As for the 1.5-litre diesel engine, it's available with an iMT gearbox as standard on all Tech Line trims – HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+ – while the torque converter automatic is offered on the HTX, GTX+ and X-Line trims.

The 1.5 Litre TGDi engine will be available on the tech line trims, the GT trims and on the X-Line.

Features

The major updates which the Kia Seltos has received are the Big Panoramic Sunroof and the ADAS tech. The ADAS features includes autonomous emergency braking lane keep assist and forward collision warning assists. While 6 airbags, ESC, Hill Start Assist, all disc brakes, TPMS, 3 point seat belts for all passenger with reminder function are standard across all variants. Other features include are the Dual Zone climate control, 8 inch head up display, electric parking brake, bose surround sound system, rain sensing wipers and the mood sound lamps.

Seltos now gets a new Pewter Olive colour which looks really stunning.
