Maruti Suzuki Fronx hits 150000 sales milestone in just 14 months 

Maruti's premium compact SUV Fronx which is sold from their premium channel Nexa has hit a new sales record, Maruti Suzuki has sold 1,50,000 units in just 14 months. 

Having sold 1,34,735 units in the 12 months of FY2024, Maruti Suzuki India dispatched 14,286 units of the Fronx in April 2024, taking the model’s total wholesales to 1,49,021 units.

The Fronx was the best-selling Nexa model in April 2024, ahead of its donor model, the baleno which sold 14,049 units. In May 2024, Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 54,204 utility vehicles, up 17 percent year-on-year, which helped buffer the decline in hatchback and sedan sales and the Fronx clearly will be one of the top sales performers.

Majorly 1.2 Litre K series 4 cylinder petrol engine which churns out 89 bhp available in fronx has majorly helped out fronx do these amazing sales numbers. Fronx is available with another 1.0 Litre boosterjet petrol engine paired with 5 speed manual and 6 speed torque converter but this engine is chosen by enthusiasts mostly.

As of now Fronx is not available with any safety ratings but Maruti Suzuki is pretty confident that it will score good in Bharat NCAP.
