Top 5 best-selling compact SUVs in February 2021

The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza was the largest-selling compact SUV in India in February 2021. Other vehicles making the list of the top five best-selling compact SUVs in February 2021 were the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and the Mahindra Bolero. Let us have a look at their sales numbers.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza - 11,585 units

The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza was the leader of the compact SUV segment in February 2021 with sales of 11,585 units. It is priced between Rs 7.39 lakh and Rs 11.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Vitara Brezza employs the K15B 1.5-litre petrol engine (105PS/138Nm) that has 5-speed MT and 4-speed AT options.

Hyundai Venue - 11,242 units

The Hyundai Venue was the second largest-selling compact SUV in February 2021 with sales of 11,242 units. It is available in the price range of Rs 6.87 lakh to Rs 11.67 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Sonet gets three powertrain options -- 1.2-litre Kappa petrol (83PS/114Nm) with 5-speed MT, 1.0-litre Kappa Turbo-GDI petrol (120PS/172Nm) with 6-speed iMT, 6-speed MT and 7-speed DCT and 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel (100PS/240Nm) with 6-speed MT.

Kia Sonet - 7,997 units

The Kia Sonet witnessed sales of 7,997 units in February 2021. It is offered in the price bracket of Rs 6.79 lakh to Rs 13.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Sonet has three engine and five transmission options -- Smartstream 1.2-litre petrol (83PS/115Nm) with 5-speed MT, Smartstream 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol (120PS/172Nm) with 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT, and 1.5-litre CRDi diesel (100PS/240Nm - WGT and 115PS/250Nm - VGT) with 6-speed MT (WGT) and 6-speed AT (VGT).

Tata Nexon - 7,929 units

The Tata Nexon's sales stood at 7,929 units in February 2021. Priced between Rs 7.10 lakh and Rs 12.79 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the compact SUV has the Revotron 1.2-litre turbo-petrol (120PS/170Nm) and the Revotorq 1.5-litre diesel (110PS/260Nm) engine options. Both the motors get 6-speed MT and 6-speed AMT choices.

Mahindra Bolero - 4,843 units

Completing the list of the top five best-selling compact SUVs in February 2021 was the Mahindra Bolero at fifth position with 4,843 units sold in February 2021. It is priced between Rs 8.17 lakh and Rs 9.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). At the heart of the Bolero is the 1.5-litre mHAWK75 diesel engine (77PS and 210Nm) mated to a 5-speed MT.
