Toyota is considering its popular SUV in India to launch in mid-2021.
1. RAV4 is developed in TNGA platform.

The car is expected to be in India using the CBU route which means it will be in a state of "Completely built-up" under the 2500 units import quota, and as the vehicle is going to be a full import, the total prices will be around INR. 60Lakh. The RAV4 will be offered as a petrol-only, hybrid and plug-in hybrid model in international markets through it's hybrid that is expected to come to India. The test mule was seen wearing a badge on the front fender, which is not seen very clearly, which likely is of "Hybrid". The tailgate also seems to have a blueish tint. And the car's name is clearly visible on the lower left.
The engine is powered by a 2.5litre, four-cylinder, Atkinson cycle petrol engine paired with an electric motor which develops a combined 218bhp in the two-wheel-drive models with the system generating 222hp in the all-wheel-drive variants.
