Why was The New Mahindra Thar Recalled This Month?

Mahindra this month issued a recall for its latest launched Thar that was launched last year due the defect in camshaft. But in case of petrol version, there is no recall issued. This comes after machine setting error in supplier's plant.

Mahindra said that it will be contacting the Thar-Diesel owners whose car's have been manufactured between the dates 7th to 25th December 2020.

The Waiting Period

The current waiting period of Mahindra's Thar in some cities is around 10 months that too depending upon color and variant.
