Confused in buying sedan or compact suv.

by Pulkit Handa - 2020-09-20 03:36:32

Hi Sir, I looking for a spacious and performance oriented car under 12 lakh on-road. I am considering sedans and compact SUVs like Verna(sx petrol), Xuv300 top variant petrol, creta S petrol. The problem here verna is feature loaded but seems congested and xuv300 doesn't have good boot space and resale value is also not good furthermore creta S going out of budget and doesn't have features like sunroof and other offered in verna and xuv300. Need your guidance sir, pl suggest which one will be good to go.

First time own car to buy

by Santosh Dhyani - 2020-09-20 03:31:51

Hi because of my job i travel about 1500-2000kms per month on both highways in plain and hills as well. Also I’ve a baby kid and want a safe vehicle. It will be my first vehicle and for sure will use 7-10years. I’ve been driving Bolero SLE till now. I want a family car with comfort, durability, highly fuel efficient and have a powerful engine. Also i want after sales service must be customer friendly and readily accessible. Also I’m quite confused whether to go for petrol or diesel. So far I’ve seen i20, Verna S, Venue and Toyota Etios sedan. Maruti I’ve not selected due safety and Tata for its after service feedback which is not good and you have also repeatedly mentioned in your reviews. Please advise as if you are buying a car for yourself.

Which car to buy? - 1st car huge confusion

by Ankur Roy - 2020-09-20 03:21:14

Actually I'm in a very big confusion about which car to buy. This will be my first car, so I want to get the best car possible in my budget. I want a car which is good to drive and feature loaded. I have seen many videos regarding this. My budget is 9-10 L ( on road) I wanted the new verna but it is going out of my budget so thought about premium hatchback. Personally I liked the new upcoming i20, but please tell me if it will be worth it? Should I wait for it or should see something else. I have seen altroz as well, but personally I do not like TATA cars. And I will be buying it on LOAN obviously, from where should I take the loan from and how much DP might be required minimum? Please help me out.

Eon to Creta/Seltos or directly to Harrier

by Amit - 2020-09-20 03:17:59

Hello Bhai, I am driving Eon Era+ 2013 model (first car ever), just drove 36000 KM. Running is very less, only during weekends with family (kabhi kabhi hafto tak nahi nikalti) and few long holiday trips with family with full load (drove eon till kedarnath as well). I like to drive lekin vo enthusiast jaise nahi, bas maja aata hai. I am thinking of upgrading to bigger automatic petrol car (kabhi chalayi nahi). Bahut duvidha hai, Creta/Seltos bahut value for money, features ke saath aati hai and practical cars lagti hai city ke hisaab se. Fir lagta hai ki 20Lakh to lagne hi hai to kyo naa ek hi baar Tata Harrier hi le li jaye as it is much bigger (jitna space ho, utna acha hi hoga) than Creta/Seltos aur india ka apna brand hai. Family ko bhi shayad jyada pasand aayegi aisa mughe lagta hai, space ki wajah se. Gaadi mughe hi chalani hai, family mai kisiko chalani nahi aati. I am interested in top models with sunroof as well. Agar aaj harrier bologay to mai wait bhi kar sakta hu uska petrol version aane tak. Koi aur car bhi suggest kar sakte ho. Budget: 20-25 Lac hai. Duvidha dur karo plz

Hyundai Verna Fluidic diesel SX(O) - whether retain or replace

by Manik Sharma - 2020-09-20 03:12:13

Hi, I have a 2011 Verna Fluidic 1.6 diesel SX(O). It has only run 60000 kms in 9 years. I am confused whether to replace or retain the car. There are minor issues in the car such as hard clutch and soft suspension. I know it is an inherent limitation of verna fluidic which is the reason for low running as I dont use it on highways (I also have scorpio and swift vdi). Now these issues can be solved by replacing clutch cylenders and suspensions with Verna 2015-16 suspension. After this I can also use it on highways too. I think it will cost around 50-60000. Feature wise car is still good and engine is still a diesel rocket which gives smile to me even today. Other than these there are no issues in the car. Kindly suggest whther it makes financial sense to replace the car as I think it can only fetch around 4 lakhs. Thanks
