Hero MotoCorp has silently launched the updated Xpulse 200T adventure motorcycle with the BS6-compliant engine. Priced at Rs 1.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2021 Hero Xpulse 200T BS6 has been made available in three colours – Matte Shield Gold, Sports Red and Panther Black. Now, the bike uses the BS6-compliant 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that’s good enough for 18.1bhp and 16.15Nm. The unit has been boosted with advanced programmed fuel injection and XSens technology. It has a 5-speed gearbox for performing transmission duties. Sitting on tubular diamond frame, the 2021 Hero Xpulse 200T BS6 comes fitted with a 276mm upfront and a 220mm rear disc brake. The bike gets the single-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system) as a standard fitment. Its suspension system includes a telescopic and a 10-step adjustable monoshock unit at the front and rear axle respectively.
Some of its key features include a full-LED headlamp, dual-purpose tyres, Bluetooth enabled smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and LCD instrument panel. The company also provides a Rally kit for the Xpulse that costs an extra Rs 38,000. It includes Maxxis off-road tyres, handlebar risers, a taller seat, bigger footrests, a larger rear sprocket and longer travel and adjustable suspension. Recently, the home-grown bikemaker roll out the 100 Million Editions of its three popular bikes – Xtreme 160R, Splendor Plus and Passion Pro. All models feature a dual-tone White and Red paint scheme. The Xtreme 160R comes with a 15bhp, 163cc, air-cooled engine paired to a 5-speed gearbox. While the Splendor Plus uses an 8bhp, 97.2cc, air-cooled engine, the Passion Pro derives power from a 9bhp, 113cc, air-cooled motor.
