The all new 7 seater will rival the MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari and upcoming XUV500. The SUV looks identical to the 5 seater sibling Creta. But the younger sibling is expected to have a 20mm longer wheelbase along with an increased length of 30mm which will create sufficient space for the third row. The new model will also receive auto-dimming IRVM, 360-degree camera, leather upholstery and front parking sensors. It is likely to be offered with two engine options – a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel. While the former is good for 138bhp and 250Nm of torque, the turbo-diesel engine produces 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. Both manual and automatic versions will be on offer. The Creta also gets a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that offers 113bhp and 145Nm of torque.
