Kia Sonet, Seltos, Kia Carnival: February 2021 retail sales

The retail sales of Kia Motors India jumped 43.86 per cent to 14,828 units in February 2021, the latest data from the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) has revealed. In the same month last year, the automobile manufacturer had retailed 10,307 units. The market share of Kia Motors India in the country's passenger vehicle segment increased to 5.84 per cent in February 2021 from 4.49 per cent in the year-ago month.

The automobile manufacturer retailed the Kia Sonet, Kia Seltos and Kia Carnival in February 2021. The Sonet is priced between Rs 6.79 lakh and Rs 13.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Seltos is available in the price range of Rs 9.89 lakh to Rs 17.65 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Carnival is offered in the price bracket of Rs 24.95 lakh to Rs 33.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). According to the FADA data, the overall passenger vehicle registrations in India rose 10.59 per cent to 2,54,058 units in February 2021 from 2,29,734 units in February 2020. The data does not include registration figures from Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Lakshadweep.
