The Indian SUV maker has reported that they sold a total of 80,679 vehicles in the month of October 2023, which includes both passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles for both domestic and export markets, which translates into an annual growth of 32%. The car maker has recorded the highest sales for the fourth month in a row.

India’s largest SUV maker, Mahindra, today announced their sales data for the month of October 2023. The OEM has registered a growth of 32%, with a total of 80,679 vehicles dispatched last month. The figure for passenger vehicles in the domestic market stood at 43,708 units against 32,226 units in the same month last year, which translates into 35.62 percent of growth on a YoY basis. Mahindra sold 41,267 units in the month of September 2023, so that translates to a MoM growth of nearly 6 percent.

Mahindra’s domestic sales of commercial vehicles stood at 25,715 units, which is also the highest ever.

SUV demand is all-time high, and with the festive season on the horizon, Mahindra’s large SUV portfolio is only going to deliver even better results for the OEM.

Veejay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd, stated that, "In October, we clocked the highest ever volumes at 80,679 vehicles, a growth of 32%. Both SUVs and CVs individually achieved the highest ever volumes for the third consecutive month at 43,708 and 25,715 vehicles, respectively. While the strong festive demand should see us continue our growth momentum in November, we will keep a close watch on select supply-related challenges."
