Royal Enfield’s new ‘Smooth and Seamless Ownership Experience’ has been unveiled as part of the brand’s consumer experience programme.

The company has teamed up with OTO Capital to launch what it calls the ‘Assured Buyback Programme’. According to the company, the programme will ‘change the way you buy a motorcycle’ and ‘set new industry standards’.

Royal Enfield sees this as an opportunity to expand and develop the midsize segment in India, where Royal Enfield dominates the sales charts from the 350-cc segment to the 750-cc segment not only in India but all over the world.

This programme offers flexible tenure options ranging from one to three years, with EMIs lowered by up to 45 percent. Other benefits include guaranteed buyback value (up to 77 percent) depending on the tenure, coupled with cashback incentives at the end of the tenure. This is the first of its kind in the Indian auto industry. At the end of the tenure of the assured buyback, buyers will have several options. They can either trade their motorcycle for a Royal Enfield, keep it, or return it. The main benefits are lower monthly EMIs, guaranteed buyback value, and RE motorcycles.

The programme will be available at 12 dealerships in the following cities: (1) Delhi (2) Ghaziabad (3) Noida (4) Lucknow (5) Jaipur (6) Bhopal (7) Indore (8) Ahmedabad (9) Pune (10) Hyderabad (11) Bangalore (12) Chennai

At the launch event, Royal Enfield’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said, “At Royal Enfield, we always prioritise the customer. Right from the stage of motorcycle conception and development all the way to designing in-store and in-use consumer experience, we always endeavour to create what consumers want."
