The Renault India is launching yet another Kwid? Captur?, oh sorry! Kiger on 15th February & The bookings will start from the same date. The Sub-compact segment is getting some more additions quite faster than other segments as people also seem to be liking the trend of Sub-compact SUV. Renault must have a lot of expectations from this car, as this car can be their Ace as the prices compared to the rivals, start from just 5Lakhs. No one else offers a Sub compact SUV at this price point in this segment with highly abundant choices.

From a design perspective, it looks like an uplifted version of the Kwid with roof rails on and a bit of fancy face job as it is based on Renault’s CMFA+ platform. But we think it will definitely be a game-changer for this segment in terms of price point & specs offered. The car has an abundant amount of space and practicality and the features list is long as well. But the bad news is this car is only offered in petrol engine options only.

Under the Hood:

The engine offered in this car is 1-liter petrol engine which produces a maximum of 98.63bhp and 160Nm of torque with manual transmission.

Key Features:

1. Kiger will feature 20.32cm link floating touchscreen with wireless smartphone replication (miracast / screencast like feature)

2. Air Purifier

3. Wireless charger

4. 3D sound by Arkamys

5. Total cabin storage of 29.1L

6. Rear parking sensor with camera

7. 2 Front Airbags

If you are planning to buy the Turbo variant of this car then you can go on to Tata Nexon which provides safety.
