Hero MotoCorp has rolled out a special edition of the Destini 125 scooter in the country. Called 2021 Hero Destini 125 Platinum Edition, the new model has been priced at Rs 72,050 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The scooter’s Platinum Edition has received enhanced aesthetics and premium badging over the standard model. Its sheet metal body gets a new black and chrome theme. Engine setup, however, remains unchanged.
What distinguish it from the regular model are the chromed mirrors, handle bar ends, chrome muffler protector and chrome fender stripe. The 2021 Hero Destini 125 Platinum Edition has a coloured seat with “Platinum” badging on it. The special edition has been painted in a new Matt Black colour scheme complimenting its brown inner panels and white rim tape.
Features such the signature LED guide lamps, side stand indictor, a digital analogue speedometer and service due reminder are carried forward from the regular model. As mentioned above, the 2021 Hero Destini Platinum Edition uses the same 125cc engine boosted with Hero’s i3S (Idle stop start) system. The motor makes a peak power of 9bhp at 7,000rpm and 10.4Nm of torque at 5,500rpm.

The Hero Destini 125 comes in three variants – Drum brake with sheet metal wheel, Drum brake with alloy wheels and 100 Million Edition – priced at Rs 66,960, Rs 70,450 and Rs 72,250 respectively. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.
