Citroen C3 Aircross Introductory Prices Announced at Rs 9.99 Lakh.

Citroen India has just announced the introductory price of its Creta Competitor the C3 Aircross. Detailed Variant wise price list to come later, with deliveries to begin on 15 October.

The Mid size SUV from Citroen has been launched today with an introductory price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base version that is called You, while the top and Mid variant called Max and Plus respectively to get their pricing on a later date.

Citroen has started taking bookings of C3 Aircross with a booking amount of Rs 25,000 and the cars will be delivered to customers on 15^th October Onwards.

Citroen C3 Aircross Exterior Looks

The Citroen C3 Aircross features a typical crossover look at the front with brand’s logo sitting right at the top of grille. The LED daytime running lights are shared with companies other cars like C3 and eC3 with horizontal and lateral elements at both sides. The radiator grill gets square elements and the fog lamps are attached to it rather than the bumper itself. The headlamp unit is halogen one whereas the competitors offer LED units on their mid and top spec variants.

Coming to the side profile of the car one notable downside are the traditional lift – up type door handles and not the latest pull type handles. The Car gets 17 inch alloys with sober looking Quad design. The car will come with four monotone colour options and 6 dual tone colour options. 

Citroen C3 Aircross Interior

In the interior the car gets standard Citroen tri-spoke steering wheel with controls on either sides. The dashboard design is simple. At the centre it gets a 10.2 inch touchscreen infotainment system which gets wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The instruments cluster is digital one which which gets a 7 inch screen. The gear knob is a bulky one with its position near to the dashboard in modern fashion. In the top trims driver seat is offered with an arm rest but it is not available for the co driver. Rear arm rest is also offered only in top two trims. Customers will have option to choose from two interior colour trim options.

Citroen C3 Aircross Features

Similar to the earlier Citroen models the C3 Aircross also misses out on many features. The top variant is offered with Keyless entry, reverse camera, roof mounted rear AC vents, Quad speakers with two front tweeters. The Air conditioning unit is a manual one though. At safety front it gets standard dual front Airbags, ABS with EBD. C3 has upper hands when it comes to sitting options because it offers 5+2 seating arrangement although with limited space at the 3^rd row. 

Engine Specifications

On the powertrain front Citroen C3 Aircross losses to its rivals as it only offers a single engine option – a 1.2 litre turbo gasoline engine that is coupled with a 6 speed manual gearbox.

The engine is good to produce 110 hp of peak power and 190 Nm of torque. There is no option of automatic gearbox as of now but we expect it to come in future.

Citroen C3 Aircross Competition

The Mid size SUV is highly contested presence of cars like Creta, Seltos, Grand Vitara, Urban Cruiser, Kushaq, Taigun, Elevate. C3 will also have to face fierce competition from some variants of Nexon, Venue, and Sonet and other Compact SUVs.
