Hero MotoCorp will showcase an ADV scooter at EICMA 2023.

Hero MotoCorp is about to reveal a new adventure-style maxi scooter along with the Vida V1 at EICMA 2023, as a new leaked image hints at the new arrivals.

The image displays an outline of three scooters, with the two in the background seemingly deriving from the Vida V1 Pro scooter, while the one in the center represents the forthcoming Maxi scooter. Hero will use the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, to showcase its new products.

The New Adventure Scooter

We have already reported that Hero has patented an adventure kind of scooter, and the new spy images hint that its design is very similar to what the homologated sketch looks like. The AV scooter can be based on the Xoom 110 with a more powerful engine. This could be a new journey altogether if Hero decides to jump into the Adv Scooter category.

The upcoming Hero MotoCorp Maxi-scooter showcases a tall windscreen, boasting front telescopic suspension with adequately long travel and an elevated exhaust, while at the rear, regular adjustable twin shock absorbers are seen. It is expected to incorporate a digital instrument panel and offer features akin to those found in similar segmented products. We can see a more compact single-piece seat and a curved rear end in the teaser. A dual headlight setup is also seen, which fits aptly with the large size of the scooter.

According to some reports, the maxi-scooter could be powered by a 160-cc single-cylinder engine, the specifics of which remain unknown, but a modest 125-cc engine is also possible. Hero would be able to compete with the Aprilia SR160 and Yamaha Aerox 155 with the new model.

New Electric Scooters

The other two scooters in the background could be a revised version of the Vida V1 electric scooter, with a single- and twin-seat layout. The EICMA event may be targeted at the globalization of Hero Electric models.

The current Hero Vida V1 Pro scooter comes with a twin removable battery setup of 3.94 kWh total capacity that is claimed to offer a range of 110 kilometers with a top speed of 80 kmph.
