Tata Motor is on the streak of launching updated products, and after the Nexon and Nexon.ev facelifts, Harrier and Safari also got their due. Tata has finally announced the pricing of the Safari, which starts at Rs Rs 16.19 lakh. for the base Smart variant while it goes all the way to Rs 25.49 lakh for the Accomplished+ variant. Prices of numerous variants will be announced later.

Tata Safari Variants Explained (Based on the broucher of Safari which released earlier)

 

Similar to the Harrier SUV, Safari also gets Smart and Pure trims in the lower range and Adventure trim in the mid-spec, while the top range of the Safari carries the Adventure moniker. The lower trims Smart (O) and Pure (O) will be offered with only two color options: Stellar Frost and Lunar Slate, while the mid and top specs get four color options, namely Supernova Copper, Stellar Frost, Stardust Ash, and Galactic Sapphire.

 

Safari gets only one engine option, which is the 2.0-liter Kryotec diesel sourced from Fiat Group, but it also gets the option of two gearboxes: one is a 6-speed manual and the other is a Hyundai-sourced 6-speed torque converter automatic. The automatic range starts with the Adventure+ trim.

 

 

Tata Safari ARAI Claimed Mileage

 

Tata Motors claims that the new Safari will get 16.30 kpl for the manual and 14.50 kpl for the automatic, which is a slight 0.14 kpl and 0.42 kpl improvement over the models from before the makeover.

Seating Options

 

 

All the variants of the Tata Safari gets a 7 seater arrangement but the Accomplished+ would also come with a 6 seater option.
