Toyota Rumion launched ! Here are the prices and details

Toyota Rumion is launched at Rs 10.29 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). Rumion is a Ertiga based MPV powered by 1.5 Litre Petrol engines

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has today announced the launch of their new MPV - Rumion. It will be available in petrol and CNG version, the petrol engine is equipped with a mild hybrid system which has an ISG motor which helps in torque assists, brake energy regeneration and auto start-stop.

Toyota currently have Innova Crysta and Innova Hycross in their MPV portfolio in India and with Rumion, it will strenghten the brand's MPV portfolio. Rumion becomes the most affordable MPV in Toyota India's entire MPV lineup.

Rumion is a rebadged version of India's most selling MPV which is the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga which is priced between Rs 8.64 lacs to Rs 13.08 Lacs (Ex-Showroom). The Rumion is also sold in the markets of South Africa since 2021.

The 7 seater Toyota Rumion will be available in six variants namely S MT, S AT, G MT, V MT, V AT and S MT (CNG). Below is the detailed pricing for the MPV.

It has a claimed fuel efficiency of 20.51 kmpl for MT, 20.11 kmpl for AT and 26.11 km/kg for the CNG variant. It is built on the lightweight Heartect Platform and is equipped with safety features like dual front and front seat side airbags, ABS with EBD, Engine immobilizer, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and more. The Toyota Rumion is sold in five colour schemes namely Spunky Blue, Rustic Brown, Iconic Grey, Cafe White and Enticing Silver. As for the performance, the familiar 1.5L four-cylinder K15C mild-hybrid petrol engine is utilised. It develops a maximum power output of 103 hp and 136.8 Nm of peak torque, and is paired with a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed torque converter automatic unit.
 

It comes with a Smartplay Cast Infotainment system which has features like wireless apple carplay and android aut and equipped with Toyota i-Connect, it offers remote control of climate, lock/unlock, hazard lights and many more connected features.
