Volkswagen Launches Virtus Sound Edition: Elevating the Driving Experience with Enhanced Audio

Following the recent revelation of the Taigun Sound Edition, Volkswagen has officially introduced the Virtus Sound Edition to its lineup, Priced at Rs. 15.52 lakh (ex-showroom), the Virtus Sound Edition is positioned as a limited-edition variant, just like the Taigun Sound Edition.

 


 

Audiophile's Delight: Virtus Sound Edition Features

 

True to its name, the Virtus Sound Edition places a premium on the audio experience, offering an enhanced seven-speaker setup with a subwoofer and an amplifier. The edition, based on the Topline variant, doesn't just stop at the audio system. It introduces powered front-row seats for added comfort, and exclusive 'Sound Edition' badging and graphics on the C-pillars, setting it apart from the standard Virtus variants.

 

 


 

Aesthetic Enhancements

 

Customers can personalize their Virtus Sound Edition with a choice of four exterior paint shades: Rising Blue, Wild Cherry Red, Carbon Steel Grey, and Lava Red. To further enhance its visual appeal, the edition comes with a contrasting white roof and ORVMs, adding a touch of sophistication to its overall aesthetic.

 



 

Availability and Pricing

 

Much like its Taigun counterpart, the Virtus Sound Edition will be available in limited numbers. Volkswagen is offering two gearbox options for customers to choose from, catering to both manual and automatic preferences. Under the hood, the Virtus Sound Edition boasts the 1.0L TSI turbo petrol engine, delivering 114 bhp of peak power and 178 Nm of peak torque. Here are the variant-wise ex-showroom prices for the Virtus Sound Edition:

 

- Virtus Sound Edition 1.0-litre TSI MT: Rs. 15.51 lakh

 

- Virtus Sound Edition 1.0-litre TSI AT: Rs. 16.77 lakh
